SALARY: R216 417 per annum (Level 05)
CENTRES: Upington, Springbok, Calvinia, Kimberley

Requirements:

• Grade 10 certificate with 3 years of road work maintenance experience.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s license and a PDP.
• Competency to operate all machinery utilized by the road maintenance teams.

Duties:

• Support road construction and maintenance work through the construction of culverts and side drains.
• Erect and maintain steel guardrails and gabions.
• Conduct road cleaning, pothole patching, surfacing, and maintenance of sidewalks and resting areas.
• Set road markings, install road signs, and barricade work areas.
• Supervise road construction and maintenance activities, ensuring safety and equipment control.
• Coordinate the blading program and oversee task allocation and performance.
